Tory Lanez's Lawyer Claims He Has Proof DNA Evidence Used In Megan Thee Stallion Shooting Case Was 'False & Misleading'

Tory Lanez's lawyer Jose Baez has claimed that he has proof that the DNA evidence used in the Megan Thee Stallion case was "false and misleading." He wrote via Instagram, “Today is National DNA day and we are happy to announce that Tory Lanez will be releasing information about the DNA in his case that gave false & misleading information to his jury: #freetorylanez.”

Tory’s attorneys previously filed a motion for a new trial in the shooting of Megan Thee Stallion. Last week, the Canadian rapper took to Instagram and shared an open letter he penned to Los Angeles County District Attorney George Gascón. In the letter, he asked Gascón to grant his request for a new trial.

Back in December, Tory was found guilty of shooting Megan Thee Stallion in July 2020.
