Lizzo is being sued by three of her former dancers for sexual harassment and creating a hostile work environment. Among the most striking allegations? The plaintiffs say were pressured by Lizzo (in fear of losing their jobs) to touch nude dancers at a live sex show in Amsterdam. They also accused the body positivity role model of calling out one dancer’s weight gain and later angrily firing her for recording a meeting due to a health condition.
The lawsuit, filed in Los Angeles Superior Court, goes on to accuse Lizzo's dance captain, Shirlene Quigley, of scolding dancers who had premarital sex, simulating oral sex, and other inappropriate behavior. The suit doesn't say if Lizzo knew about the allegations regarding the dance captain, but the plaintiffs say she was aware of their complaints about her.
