Nicki Minaj has moved into the #3 position on the list of rappers with the most Billboard Top 10 hits on the Hot 100 chart. Just ahead of her are Lil Wayne and Drake. The 40-year-old earned her 23rd Top 10 hit this past week when “Barbie World,” a song she did with Ice Spice and Aqua. It debuted at #7. Coincidentally, this mark matched the exact peak of the 1997 record “Barbie Girl” that they sampled.
Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductee Missy Elliott celebrated her 52nd birthday with a Sneaker Ball. The star-studded affair over the weekend, took place in New Orleans and included a guest list of celebrities. Among them were Ari Lennox, Deon Cole, Jermaine Dupri, and Jill Scott. The party sported a purple LED lit tunnel playing all of the Grammy winner’s music and her videos.
