SOULJA ORDERED TO PAY EX-GIRLFRIEND $250K IN DAMAGES FOR ALLEGEDLY BASHING HER WITH A GUN: Soulja Boy has been ordered to pay ex girlfriend Karla Meyers over $230,000. According to RadarOnline, court docs say that a Los Angeles jury reached a verdict on April 21st and sided with Meyers. The jury awarded Meyers $1,800 for mental health expenses and another $234,100 for physical and mental pain and suffering, bringing the total to $235,900. In addition, the jury found that Soulja Boy engaged in the conduct with “malice, oppression or fraud.” As previously reported, Meyers recently testified in court about the alleged abuse she suffered at the hands of the rapper during a 2019 house party.
LATTO'S LAX GUN CASE DISMISSED: According to TMZ, yesterday (April 25th) Latto's LAX gun case was dismissed. The rapper was facing charges after she bought a loaded weapon into the airport back in April 2021. Latto was charged with carrying a loaded firearm and possession of a concealed weapon. She took a gun safety course and did 120 hours of community service to get her charges dismissed. Latto's lawyer Jamal Tooson said in a statement, “I am extremely pleased with the outcome and glad my client can move forward with her flourishing career."
