Offset Sues Record Label Over Rights To Solo Career

Reports say that Offset has sued his record label Quality Control over his artist rights as a solo act. According to TMZ, the rapper said that he paid a significant amount of money to secure his artist rights in 2021 but when it came down to releasing new music, the label quickly tried to put their name on it.

Quality Control's CEO P responded to Offset on Twitter, saying that they already went through a similar situation when Migos sued the label in 2020. P claimed that the lawsuit will likely have the same outcome as the previous lawsuit. He wrote, “The last lawsuit was filed publicly and dismissed quietly. Let's see how this one go. Been to real for all this lame sh*t. Everyone know the real problem.”

Offset responded, saying that P blackballed him in the music industry. He said, “”N***as act like Im the problem I paid millions to get my rights back. N***a you blackballed me I ain't said sh*t one time homie I ain't spoke to you in 2 years now I drop and you want ya name on my credit?”

CARDI B DEFENDS OFFSET; GETS INTO TWITTER WAR WITH NICKI MINAJ FAN

Meanwhile, Cardi took to social media to defend her husband, writing on IG, “Offset bought himself out his Qc deal after they didn't want to renegotiate his contract. I'm tired of people trying to make offset look like the bad guy …..ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!”

She also got into a Twitter war with a Nicki Minaj fan who goes by the Twitter handle @SleezeMaraj. SleezeMaraj asked Cardi if she was going to pay the women who took her to court over a bar fight and said that there was a financial deal on the table.

Cardi clapped back, saying, “Why you lying on me and those girls for I have a open case EVERYTHING IS PUBLIC offering money will not benefit me and actually get me in real trouble you making up anything cause you decided to come for me after coming out of jail for stealing 3k worth of clothes.”

The woman also bought Saweetie into the Twitter war, claiming that she slept with Offset.
