Celebrities are reacting to Megan Thee Stallion's interview with Gayle King in which she opened up about the alleged shooting incident with Tory Lanez. During an episode of Fox Soul's Cocktail's With Queens, Vivica A. Fox said that she didn't think it was smart for Megan to speak publicly on the case.
She explained, "I really think that her people should've advised her, 'Until this is settled, and then you can tell your side. That's when you talk."
Co-host Claudia Jordan responded, "I agree, I think pending a case that's in progress, it is a mistake to kind of show your cards, but I also kind of feel for her because she's been getting dragged like she's the one that shot somebody. They treat her like she's on trial and she's not. He's on trial, not her."
Vivica responded to Claudia, saying, "But that is just public opinion, which until the facts are stated and they come out, she should have kept everything that she possibly can in her file cabinet. Now lawyers can twist and turn things. "
50 CENT SPEAKS ON MEGAN'S INTERVIEW
50 Cent also chimed in on the interview, saying that he didn't believe Megan didn't have a sexual relationship with Torey Lanez. During the interview, when King asked Megan if she had a sexual relationship with Torey, Megan paused and said, “Umm, I didn’t have a sexual relationship with Tory.”
50 responded, “Now that I don’t believe, she had to think about her answer. SMH all this sh*t is crazy."
Torey previously claimed he was intimate with Megan and her best friend Kelsey Harris. He once tweeted, “Good D*ick had me f*cking 2 best friends …. and I got caught."
Tory has pleaded not guilty to assault and weapons charges. A trial is set for Sept. 14th. If convicted, he faces a maximum sentence of 22 years and 8 months in state prison.
