Justin Bieber and Megan Thee Stallion lead nominees for the 2021 MTV Video Music Awards. Announced on Wednesday (Aug. 11,) their numbers add up to seven for Bieber and six for Stallion. Both are vying for Artist of the Year against Ariana Grande, Doja Cat, Olivia Rodrigo, and Taylor Swift.
Billie Eilish, BTS, Doja Cat, Drake, Giveon, and Lil Nas X, all received five nods apiece.
The Kid Laroi and 24kGoldn got their first nods in multiple categories, including best new artist for both.
Fans can vote at MTV.com and the event will take place September 12, in New York City.
